"I know how to do anything, I am a mom." I read this quote the other day, and I began to laugh. It couldn't be any more true. Once you become a mom you literally have to be creative, versatile and flexible with all areas and in ALL situations. What you didn't know how to do b.c. (before child) you literally teach yourself how to do a.c. (after child) lol. However, its not always peaches and cream. I have moments when I lose my patience and then feel guilty and I say the wrong thing and wish I said something better or more meaningful but sometimes I just end up feeling like I came up short somehow. But I love my daughter deeply. Despite my imperfections and faults—I give her 100% of my heart every single day of my life. That’s what matters most, right? There is great value in the mother-daughter tie because the two parties care for one another and share a strong investment in the family as a whole. a recent study showed: 88 percent of adults say their mother has had a positive influence on them. 92 percent say their current relationship with their mother is positive. 88 percent of all mothers say their family appreciates them enough. 53 percent of adults say their mother had more influence than their father had. I share this because i know us mom dont give ourselves the credit we deserve. At times, we are compare ourselves to others thinking we are not good enough to be the parents God has called us to be. BUT, you are! You are the right mother for your your child, you are strong, beautiful, brave and all around the best mom. Keep your head up and keep giving 100% of your heart to your children. They will be influenced by your love and care for the rest of their lives. With that being said– Happy Internartional Women’s day! Here’s to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.
