Giuliana’s Room Design…

This project was an exciting and nostalgic one. I redesigned my daughter, G’s, room. It was a rewarding and exciting project to see her room come together so beautifully. The room expresses an energetic and feminine vibe to it. This was a way to help her transform into those young pre-teen years with this room makeover. The first thing we made sure was to follow a certain color palette that all began with this lemon wallpaper which Giuliana chose. It was the perfect transitional palette from little to big girl status. Storage was a need in this small space so I designed this custom double door storage cabinet, bench with drawer underneath & an open shelf bookcase made by Reyes Closet Design. He was a dream to work with providing him the designs and picking materials was a breeze. He definitely makes you feel confident in the project.

After installing the wallpaper (from Crate & Kids) I wanted to paint the ceiling and closet doors the same color as the wallpaper. So I took the wallpaper to get color matched at Sherwin Williams. They have the best machine (Color snap match) that can help you color match your next project. We got the best color/shade of rose pink I could’ve of dreamed of. I am attaching the code for this exact color below. Incase any of our readers would like to try this exact shade. Also, this is your sign to paint all your closet doors. It could easily elevate a small space.

Bed is from Crate & Kids. This one is already sold out but I linked a very similar one from them in the link below. Crate & Kids is one of my favorite stores to shop for kids furniture. This is the second bed we purchase from them. All of their furniture pieces are durable and good quality especially for the wear and tear kids room take.

Bedding is from Urban outfitters. I find all of their home items the perfect modern boho style. Exactly what I needed for this space.

Lamp is from Amazon. I love love love globe lighting, so once I saw this lamp it was a no brainer, she was the perfect addition to the room. We kept her previous ceiling pendant since it was fairly new and still wen with the new room design. This drum pendant is from Target.

Rug is from my favorite rug company. Balta Rugs. They provide the best variety and quality of rugs for a fair price.

I love to design kids rooms, its the perfect time to play with color, shapes & patterns!

If you’re interested in any of the items used in her room, you can find everything through my LTK page
