A Newlyweds Dream Master Bedroom…

The following project was a highlight of 2022…

I always enjoy it when I am asked to participate in someone’s beginnings (especially when it comes to (re)designing someone’s home). A lovely couple who recently got married and bought their own home decided to design their place and kindly asked me to help and be part of the process. This is always a pleasure of mine to be considered someone who can help and be part of new beginnings. It was special to be part of this husband & wife’s new start in their home.

This process was unique because the couple was scared to introduce the color black to their home and decor. They were drawn to make their home feel like the One Hotel, very spa-like. However, as a creative designer, I thought the color black was going to be that needed “pop” of color without being a color. It helps in the neutral vibe they were drawn to. Now, once everything has been said and done, they can’t imagine their home any other way. They fell in love with the “pop” of color that black offered them. It’s the perfect color palette — black, white, and beige.
